The Client
The Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) at Navi Mumbai is a leading container handling port in India, managing around 50% of the total containerized cargo volume across major Indian ports.
Established on May 26, 1989, JNPA has become the country’s top container port and ranks 26th among the top 100 container ports worldwide, with connections to over 200 ports globally.
The Problem
JNPA required a system to manage asset allocation effectively. The key challenges included ensuring secure document handling, coordinating workflows among users, clerks, estate managers, HR personnel, and finance teams, and managing digital asset distribution accurately. The existing process was time-consuming and required significant manual efforts.
The Solution
We developed a comprehensive digital asset management system for JNPA, including both a website and a mobile app. The solution features secure, user-friendly digital document handling and validation processes. It includes a clear digital workflow with real-time status updates and notifications, streamlining the allocation process for all involved roles. Robust data management systems ensure accurate asset allocation, and automated notifications enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort.
